Prayer & Retreats

The spiritual life of a Sacred Heart School of Glyndon student is full. We begin and end our days with prayer and pray before meals. Our school community gathers monthly with our pastor, Fr. Jerry Francik or with Fr. Brendan Fitzgerald. We also celebrate special Masses at Thanksgiving, Advent, Catholic Schools Week, Volunteer Day, Graduation, and on the last day of school. Numerous prayer services are held throughout the year.  A May Crowning and student-led Stations of the Cross are held each spring.

Several student and faculty retreats are held throughout the year. Even during the pandemic, we were able to provide retreats for our Sixth Graders (online), Seventh Graders (held on-site) and our Eighth Graders (hosted at Emory Grove).
