STAND Training Process 

There are currently three ways in which Sacred Heart Parish and School adults can complete the training component of the STAND process.

1. Completion of the online STAND training, documented by printing the certificate which is available upon completion of the online program.  All information can be found in the links below.

(This is the preferred option for all adult volunteers) 

2. Participation in one of the STAND training sessions to be held at Sacred Heart Parish in the Fr. Caulfield Room from 7 – 9 pm on September 23, 2009 and April 14, 2010.  We are now asking individuals to pre-register for these sessions by calling Mae Richardson at 410-833-7639.  Each session must have a minimum of 5 participants registered in order to be held.

3. Individuals who do not have access to a computer, and who are unable to attend the two STAND dates will be allowed to check out the STAND training video from the parish or school main office.  These individuals will need to watch the video and completed a four page set of reflection questions.  Upon completing the training the video, reflection questions and signed verification form must be returned to the office from which you received the video.  This must be done within a 48 hour time frame so that the video is available to others.

(This is not the preferred method of training and should only be utilized in the event that the other two options are completely impossible.)
