Admissions/Application Process

Welcome to the admissions page for The Sacred Heart School of Glyndon! We are so glad you are here!

Selecting a school for your child/children is an incredibly important task and we are here to help make that process as easy as possible.

The first step is to plan a virtual visit. We host Virtual Welcome Wednesdays and have scheduled three virtual Open Houses in the fall. These dates can be found on our home page.

Incoming students for our mixed-aged Pre-kindergarten program must turn three or four years old, respectively, by September 1st. Additionally, all incoming Kindergarten students must be five years of age by September 1st for the 2021-2022 school year.

If the open house dates aren’t convenient for you, simply call the school at 410-833-0857 speak with our Admissions Director.  We will work with you to find a time that works for you and your family!

We are not yet scheduling tours, but plan to resume soon. Private tours will be led by our Director of Admissions, Mrs.Stacey Aisquith and will only be scheduled afterschool. Mrs. Aisquith will provide you with information about curriculum, scheduling, and our robust academic and specials programming. Due to current state and local safety guidelines, tours will be limited to 2 adults per family and we can not accomodate child visitors at this time. Both adults must complete a wellness check and temperature screen before entering the building.

Please note that all inquiries and applications to our school are completed online.

Please see the following regarding our application procedures:

  • Once we receive your application along with the required supporting documents, your child/children will be invited to complete virtual skill-based testing with our reading/testing specialist who will administer age-appropriate assessments.
  • After your child's testing appointment, you will receive a follow-up phone call from our Director of Admissions to share screening results with you and discuss our next steps.

We welcome the opportunity to get to know you and your child/children. We, at Sacred Heart School, work to develop the unique, God-given gifts of each student in a safe, nurturing and diverse environment, through innovative academics, service to others, and spiritual preparation for a fulfilling life that follows in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
