Description of Volunteer Opportunities for Parent Service Hours

The Sacred Heart School of Glyndon is pleased to support the launch of our new Parent Service Hours Program. This new program was scheduled to launch at the beginning of this school year. However due to the current climate and the essential health and safety precautions that limit parent volunteer access during the school day, we find ourselves unable to launch the Parent Service Hours Program at this time. As this is the case, parents are not expected to track and submit volunteer hours at this time.

Once volunteer opportunities become available, the administration of Sacred Heart School will once again meet with our staff, parents and Board Members in order to plan the very best way to implement this new program.

In the meantime, should you be interested in volunteering, VIRTUS-trained adults are still needed to assist with directing traffic during our daily Drop-Off and Pick-Up times.

There are many different ways and opportunities to volunteer and help out throughout the year. The HSA (Home and School Association), The Advancement Fund, the 8th grade/Middle School and the school are always looking for help.

For more information about volunteer opportunities please contact the following :

Anyone is welcome to volunteer, but you must be VIRTUS approved. Please contact Mary Lee McCusker in the Parish Office to begin the process. If you plan to do any driving on behalf of the school, you must also provide your driver’s license information. Mary Lee McCusker =
