2nd Graders Publishes Book
by Sacred Heart - Published on 1/23/2017 1:26 PM

On Thursday, March 2, 2017 Hanael Bianchi and his son, Jonathan, a 2nd grader at The Sacred Heart School of Glyndon, were guests on the school's morning announcements.  Principal Coyle announced to the school that Jonathan is now a published author of the book "Sir Luke and His Curious Quest" which is available for sale on  Jonathan and his father donated two of these signed books to the school's library.

Mr. Bianchi, a History Professor at an area Community College, told the school that this time last year, Jonathan was collecting funds to donate to the Church poor box during the Lenten season.  He wanted to incorporate his son's giving spirit with his love of drawing into something more.  So father and son worked together to develop a story which included all of Jonathan's favorite characters: knights, dragons, robots, monster trucks and dinosaurs.  The book has been available for purchase on since December 18, 2016 and so far, approximately 40 copies have been sold, garnering rave reviews!

Mr. Bianchi encouraged all students to find their own gifts and to use those gifts to help others.  The entire school community at The Sacred Heart School of Glyndon is proud of Jonathan and his parents who have nurtured his love of service and passion for drawing into something that can be shared with others.
